RC Factory was started in 2006 as a partnership of two long time R/C hobby enthusiasts, Jan Sedlacek and David Kyjovsky.

Jan Sedlacek is a well known modeler, model designer, manufacturer and competitor. In his former company, the Soft-model Co., he was producing a whole range of wooden and EPP models and a broad line of accessories. Jan is a successful competitor in many categories, currently his focus is in F3A and F3P (indoor aerobatics).

David Kyjovsky is a long time RC hobbyist who returned to the hobby in 1998 after a break of 15 years. He is regular contributor to the Czech leading RC hobby magazine, the RC Modely. David designed many popular and commercially successful kits for different manufacturers. David is member of the national F3A team, 2007 Czech Aeromuscials champion and F3P vice-champion.
